Alma has been progressively releasing assay results from its 2025 drilling program. The final set of results was released in January 2026, and these provide significant confidence that there is strong copper mineralisation, not just at Briggs generally but in the exact locations that the company’s geological model has predicted.

Extensive analyst report from Pitt Street Research, detailing the progress of Alma Metals, one of Australia’s largest undeveloped copper projects. Alma Metals (ASX:ALM) is focused on developing the Briggs Copper JV project in Queensland, in which it has a 51% stake. It can increase this to 70%. Alma Metals has recorded stellar exploration results up to this point and, following a recently completed Scoping Study, has committed to a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS).
